Overview:

A general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support a residential/mixed-use project in North Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can help drive documentation, coordination, and procurement while supporting both the project office and field team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support PM and field team with submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and procurement tracking
  • Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, changes, permits, inspections, and closeout items
  • Assist with buyout processes, scope comparisons, and cost documentation
  • Coordinate with accounting, subcontractors, and internal teams on contracts and pay applications
  • Support punch, closeout, O&M documentation, and turnover readiness

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Engineer, APM, or Project Coordinator with a GC/CM
  • Exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial vertical construction
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
