Overview

Our client is seeking experienced Senior Estimators to join a growing preconstruction team as the organization expands its portfolio of larger and more complex vertical construction projects across Florida. This is a high-impact role for individuals who can lead estimating efforts from early conceptual budgeting through GMP development, while actively contributing to pursuit strategy and design-phase cost optimization.

This position is best suited for professionals who can operate confidently across all preconstruction phases and play a key role in shaping project success through accurate estimating, strong collaboration, and strategic cost insight.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates for complex vertical projects
• Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing narratives, scope clarifications, allowances, alternates, and risk assessments
• Solicit, level, and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing while maintaining and strengthening trade partner relationships
• Provide ongoing cost input during design development, procurement strategy, long-lead planning, and GMP preparation
• Clearly present estimating logic to internal teams and leadership, contributing to the development and improvement of preconstruction systems

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong estimating or preconstruction experience with a reputable GC or CM specializing in vertical construction
• Proven ability to manage both conceptual budgeting and detailed, document-based estimating across multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, or similar project types
• Strong technical discipline in takeoffs, scope leveling, estimate validation, and pricing analysis
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and standard estimating platforms and tools
• Strong judgment with the ability to critically evaluate assumptions and ensure pricing accuracy under real project conditions
