About the Role
The Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/RVS) plays a critical role in supporting a well-established multispecialty outpatient vascular program. This full-time, onsite position is based in a high-volume outpatient setting in Methuen, MA and requires the technologist to function independently as the sole vascular technologist on-site.
This role is ideal for an experienced vascular technologist with advanced expertise in vascular duplex and physiologic testing, a strong understanding of vascular pathology and hemodynamics, and hands-on experience supporting venous interventions, including venous ablations. The position reports to vascular leadership and is essential to ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging, efficient lab operations, and compliance with accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform a full range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex and physiologic testing
- Conduct carotid, abdominal aorta, renal, mesenteric, arterial, venous, and venous reflux studies
- Provide ultrasound guidance and clinical support during venous procedures, including venous ablation and VenaSeal treatments
- Deliver accurate preliminary findings and ensure timely, high-quality documentation and reporting
- Manage daily operations of the outpatient vascular lab, including workflow coordination and prioritization
- Maintain compliance with IAC accreditation standards, including quality assurance participation and protocol adherence
- Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures, ensuring comfort, understanding, and safety
- Maintain vascular ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment; coordinate service and maintenance as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical leadership to ensure appropriate case prioritization and follow-up
- Maintain required continuing education (30 CME credits per triennium)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Ultrasound, Allied Health, or a related health/science field OR an associate’s degree with formal vascular ultrasound training
- Active Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification
- Minimum of 5–10 years of experience performing a comprehensive range of vascular ultrasound exams
- Direct experience supporting venous treatments, including venous ablations, in a hospital or high-volume outpatient setting
- Proven ability to work independently as the sole vascular technologist in an outpatient environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)
- Sign-on bonus: $5,000 (paid after successful completion of probationary period)
