Our client is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution on a Fort Myers hospitality adaptive-reuse / refurbishment assignment. These roles require strong field leadership, renovation judgment, schedule discipline, subcontractor coordination, safety ownership, and the ability to manage phased work with high-quality hospitality expectations.

What this role will own

Lead daily field operations, site coordination, subcontractor performance, logistics, safety, and quality control.
Build and maintain field sequencing plans that support phasing, access, deliveries, inspections, and turnover.
Coordinate with PMs, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership to resolve field issues quickly.
Manage look-ahead schedules, manpower expectations, daily reports, field meetings, and progress tracking.
Protect hospitality-level finish quality while navigating existing conditions and renovation constraints.

What strong candidates bring

Superintendent experience on hospitality, renovation, adaptive-reuse, occupied work, interiors, or complex commercial projects.
Strong command of field sequencing, subcontractor coordination, safety, QA/QC, and schedule recovery.
Ability to lead trades with urgency, clarity, and professionalism.
Experience managing existing-condition surprises without allowing cost, schedule, or quality to drift.
Strong partnership instincts with PM teams; this role needs field leadership and commercial awareness.

Recruiter screening focus

Look for candidates with real renovation and phased-work experience.
Hospitality, hotel, resort, premium interiors, or occupied-building experience is especially valuable.
Candidates must be comfortable owning the jobsite, pushing schedule, and coordinating multiple trades at once.
Prior experience with finish-sensitive environments is a major plus.

Have you served as the lead Superintendent or General Superintendent on a hospitality, hotel, resort, adaptive-reuse, renovation, occupied-building, or major interiors project where you were responsible for daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, safety, and schedule execution?*
